Funny how it seems, just truly disappointed with how one behaves and reacted when someone has actually help them? They can be very cold looking towards you with no facial expression at all let alone allowing the words of “Thank you!” out from their mouth.
Just like the other day, when I returned the extra of RM 2.00 from the balance I received upon paying for my food back to the cashier…
Guess what? The cashier just grasps the RM 2.00 from my hand without uttering a single word. Deep down in my heart I was thinking, “That’s rude ok?” I am not expecting anything from you except saying the little word - “Thank you” sincerely… Is not too much, right? Is not hard at all, right?
On a separate incident, again, I did the same thing but this time round the amount was greater, it is RM 40.00! How it happened? I order foods that cost me RM 5.00 and I paid with RM 10.00 notes. To my surprised, the balance returned to me by cashier was RM 45.00 instead of RM 5.00, so… out of goodwill, again, I return the extras to the cashier…
Oh God! I almost fainted on how the cashier reacted. This one is worse than the previous… Not looking at you, pull the money away from you and walk off from the cashier counter as if there is nothing happened.
WOW! How well mannered are these people? I believe many of you experienced this before and probably worse than mine…
I just wish to say it here - Folks… listen! You have to pay for your own mistakes, blamed no one but yourself. Be grateful if someone has actually helped you on that… We could have just walk off without returning you the extras. You don’t have to buy us expansive gifts or meals, a little words like “THANK YOU” makes lots of differences, it makes our day…it makes us feel GOOD!
Darn! Isn’t it sad? Isn’t it so demoralizing?

If they had our sense, they would be in our shoes, wouldnt they?
It's tough being a cashier. It's not a job with a career progression. People get demoralised. Furthermore, they might be dealing with customers who're not so polite themselves.
Everyone has their good and bad days.
